Worms in the Pot

We put worms in a pot.

Then we put dirt.

Then seeds.

Like peas.

They look like food.

Then more dirt.

Then water.

Then we put it in the window.

The worms are going put poop in the dirt.
It will make the dirt good for the peas.
The food plants.
Did you know poop is good for dirt?
Worm poop is!

Hula Skirt

I made a Hula Skirt.

Like from Hawaii.

You dance with a Hula Skirt on.

You can dance with your hands and everything.

It is so neat.

It moves back and forth, like left to right to left to right.

I made a stage.
The people worked on the stage.
Then they got tired.
They had to lie down.
They were tired.

Like a bed.

Tee pee

On Saturday, Mr. Kyle and Mrs. Voigt came to school.

Mr. Kyle made us a tee pee.

It is big.
Even Mr. Kyle can fit inside.

We got to go inside too.

We can read and build and play and sleep.

Well, not really, but we can pretend to sleep.

Just like the people who live in a tee pee.

They would sleep and eat and play and talk and watch tv if they had one.

They are Indians.

Like Cherokee Indians.

We are learning about O.
The letter.
It has more that one sound.
It can say O.
It can say ahh.
Kind of like you open your mouth and say it.

Ocean starts with O.
O says O in that word.
We painted an ocean.

And we made octopus for our ocean.
We colored them, then cut them
Mrs. Hairston said we're doing good with cutting.
Mrs. Voigt said, "Wow!"
Octopus doesn't say O.
It says Ahh, Like when you open your mouth.

We wrote O on our board.
We got to pick our color.
It was awesome.
