College

All year, we have been talking about what we want to be when we grow up. At the beginning of the year, we learned about jobs and community helpers. We told each other what we thought we wanted to be when we grew up. We also have talked about, and learned about what we will need to do to grow up and get any job we want.

We answered the question, What do you need to do, to grow up to be anything you want to be?
You do your best.
You go to school, but not when you are sick.
You listen.
You sit criss-cross apple sauce, and put your hands in your lap, and listen to your teacher, and look at her, too.
You listen to your parents.
You go to Kindergarten, and then you go to big school, and then you go to college.
Yeah, you have to go to college.
I love school.
School is awesome.
You have to eat good food, and sleep your best.
You have to learn.
School is the best.

We talked again about what we want to be when we grow up. Even though we are in Pre-K, we already have ideas about what we want to be and how we will get there (even if we change our mind over time).
