Everyone is Different, Everyone is the Same

We got our new things from our Donor's Choose being funded.
We got things to help us learn about people are different.
We got posters, books, dolls and adaptive equipment for the dolls.
We read the book We all Play.
Then we talked about what we have learned.

That book told us that everyone plays.
Some people play different.
Only cause they are different.
Some people have legs that don't work like ours do.
They might use a wheel chair.
They might use a walker to.
They might use braces.
But, they play like we do.
Some people don't have eyes that work like ours do.
They might use glasses.
They might have a dog that helps them see.
They might read books with bumps.
But, they play like we do.
We got new things.
They show us how friends might be different.
We put them with our babies.
We get to play with them.
They show us how friends move when their legs don't work.
They show us how friends hear when their ears don't work.
They might use glasses.
Juliette has glasses.
And Ronald and Aldiar and Mrs. Voigt.
We are excited.
Just because they are different, we can still play.
We can be friends when people are different.
We can.
We want to be.
